Role Purpose
The Revenue & Sales Manager is responsible for the strategic pricing and revenue optimization of hotels, sales forecasting, goal setting, competition analysis, and the implementation of best practices in yielding, with the ultimate aim of maximizing hotel profitability.
Key Responsibilities
1. RevitUp Onboarding (Strategic kick-off of new collaborations)
- Conduct kickoff meetings with hoteliers and partners
- Perform Potential Analysis and define Strategic Positioning
- Select and configure tools, systems, and pricing models
2. Revenue Management Planning
- Design annual sales plans per hotel
- Deliver revenue forecasts (on a quarterly and semi-annual basis)
- Analyze performance and KPIs weekly
3. Yield Management / Pricing Strategy
- Daily price updates and monitoring
- Rate shopping and competitive pricing analysis
- Yielding by room type
- Channel mix optimization
4. Offers Management
- Design annual offer calendar
- Manage and adjust active offers on a monthly basis
5. Competition Analysis
- Analyze external competition (OTAs, direct channels, trends)
- Monitor and resolve rate parity issues
6. Availability Optimization
- Daily monitoring and intervention in inventory according to strategy
7. Meetings & Collaboration
- Participate in regular meetings with Revenue Managers, Assistants, and Management
- Attend face-to-face sessions with hoteliers (annually or as needed)
Reports & Strategic Performance
- Sales analysis and forecasting accuracy
- Competitor overviews and Assistant Team reporting
- Strategic change recommendations based on key performance indicators (e.g. Occupancy, ADR, RevPar)
Work Frequency
- Daily: Pricing, yielding, competition, availability monitoring
- Weekly: Data analysis, competition review, performance reports
- Monthly/Annually: Forecasts, offer planning, onboarding new clients
